Volunteers

Our lovely volunteers really are the life blood of our events, and we couldn’t do it without them.

Whether it’s marshalling, selling our merchandise, manning the feed station, filling water bottles, handing out foil blankets, setting up and taking down the start/finish, or generally just being helpful, we have a number of volunteer spaces that we need to fill at each event. The only qualifications you need are to have a friendly smile, to look good in a high-vis, and to have a high quality pointing technique. We never take our volunteers for granted, and want to ensure an enjoyable day for them too.

We like our volunteers to know they are appreciated, so in most cases we provide something like a bag of chips each after the event (or similar, subject to local facilities). For organisations who supply a number of volunteers we can usually agree a donation in return, which can be a great way of fundraising for your charity / sports club / etc.
